Curtisknowle Cottage

Curtisknowle Cottage comprises a Grade II Listed former estate cottage and adjacent outbuildings set in a hamlet in the South Hams, Devon. The 18th century home features modest, cosy rooms, thick slate walls and stained timber floors which contribute to the strong character of the property. The project seeks to sensitively extend and convert part of the property to provide additional kitchen and utility space whilst upgrading the first floor midcentury bathroom extension and providing a new studio and car garage. The project carefully balances the parameters of conservation, ecology and budget.
