In collaboration with Oficina de Resilencia Urbana and taller sbh, O’Brien Van der Steen Workshops have been appointed to design a new 10,000m2 hotel, including a spa/wellness centre, in Los Altos de Jalisco, México. The project is intended to meet high levels of both LEED and WELL certification standards and to be an example of sustainable construction in Mexico using natural local materials and a circular water capture, cleansing, use and disposal system.
