Planning Permission granted for a new farmstead on Dartmoor

Dartmoor National Park Authority have granted general permitted development for a pair of new agricultural buildings within the Dartmoor National Park.

The proposal is for two agricultural sheep sheds located on agricultural land belonging to an existing estate for the exclusive purpose of livestock farming. The proposed barns will provide much needed space to accommodate equipment, forage and inventory necessary for the running of the local sheep farming business. The proposal utilises a timber frame with overlapping corrugated cladding allowing for the natural ventilation of the working barns.
