Planning Permission granted for the renovation of a farmstead on the Lizard Penninsula

Cornwall Council have granted full planning permission for the extensive repair, renovation and extension of a dilapidated farmstead on the Lizard Penninsula.

The project, in collaboration with GRAS (Edinburgh & London), where we have been acting as Local Architects, seeks to create a new family dwelling and guest accommodation within the ‘ruins’ of the old building. A contempoary new extension links the old farmhouse to the barns whilst extensive landscaping creates a series of gardens and a central courtyard and swimming pool. The project will now progress to the Techncial Design and Tender with the aim of being on site in 12 months.
