Terrace Restaurant, Tbilisi

A small restaurant located on the terrace of the National Opera House in Tbilisi, Georgia. Referencing the timber balconies with timber and glazed screens of Tbilisi, known as sushabandi, the restaurant occupies the irregular footprint of the terrace and gardens and is wrapped around a Mediterranean pine tree. The terraces running around the exterior and the large openable panels create a blurred boundary between the terrace garden and the interior of the restaurant.
